Introduction to Older Piece of Writing

The purpose of this paper was to do a research about any type of historical person for black history. My intended audience for this paper was mainly my classmates. Some questions that I asked myself as I was writing this piece was “Is this good information that I should talk about?”, and also “Is this going to help me get a good grade on my paper?”. I learned more about Cab Calloway II in who he was, what he did, and how he had impacted black history. My strengths of this piece was jotting down the research and actually putting it into my own words for the paper. My weaknesses was being more descriptive in the paper. This assignment did not really teach me about voice in writing. I was just writing to get a good grade.
